Pant Guides Ashwin to dismiss Wade
Returning to the Indian Test team ahead of the 2nd Test against Australia at the Melbourne Cricket Ground, Rishabh Pant replaced a struggling Wriddhiman Saha as the wicket-keeper and instantly had an impact on the match.
Pant, known for being extremely vocal from behind the wicket and trying to help his bowlers as much as possible, Pant gave some excellent advice to Ashwin to dismiss Australia opener Matthew Wade in the 13th over of the first innings of the 2nd Test.

This is when Pant realised that the Australian batter was trying to do and gave his two cents on the scenario.

“Andar hi rakhna, ye maarega (keep it at the stumps, he will hit),” Pant’s voice was picked up on the stump mics and that’s exactly what happened on the delivery that followed.
Jadeja – Gill Collision
Trying to intimidate Ashwin with a back-to-back boundary, Wade walked down the pitch to swing for a big one but ended up not connecting properly and the ball flew towards the leg where Ravindra Jadeja managed to catch it despite the chances of miscommunication with Shubman Gill fielding nearby.
