Royal Challengers Bangalore(RCB) was one of the eight teams to debut in the inaugural edition of the Indian Premier League in 2008. Since their maiden appearance in IPL, RCB has still been waiting to lift their maiden title in the cash-rich league.
The Bengaluru-based franchise is considered one of the teams with a huge and loyal fan base. Despite their failure to win the trophy, RCB’s fan base has never faced a dip so far.
RCB who was expected to lift their maiden IPL title last season once again failed to fulfil the dreams of their fans. Faf du Plessis and Co. qualified for the playoffs last season but lost the IPL 2024 Eliminator game against Rajasthan Royals and got knocked out of the tournament.
With consecutive failures, RCB is expected to remodel their team by making use of the mega auction for the next season. Apart from reconditioning the team, the Bengaluru-based franchise is expected to revamp their support staff unit.
