IND vs BAN 2024 Schedule, Squad: The Bangladesh cricket team is scheduled to tour India to play two tests and three T20Is between September 19 and October 12. The Bangladesh Tour of India 2024 will begin with the two-match test series on September 19.
The Test series will form part of the 2023–2025 ICC World Test Championship. The two test matches will be played in Chennai and Kanpur.
India is positioned in the top spot of the ICC WTC 2023-25 points table while Bangladesh holds the fourth spot in the same.
The tour will then shift to Gwalior where the first T20I of the tour will be played on October 6. The second and third T20I of the series will be played on October 9 and 12 in Delhi and Hyderabad respectively.
IND vs BAN 2024 Schedule
Initially, the first T20I between India and Bangladesh was scheduled to be held in Dharamsala but the clash was later shifted to Gwalior.
The match was shifted to Gwalior as “upgrades and renovation work being carried out by the Himachal Pradesh Cricket Association in the dressing rooms,” the board said in a release.
The first T20I on October 6 will be the first international fixture at the newly-built Shrimant Madhavrao Scindia Cricket Stadium. Notably, it will be the first international match in Gwalior since Sachin Tendulkar hit a double hundred in an ODI against South Africa.
