BCCI is set to unveil the India jersey for the upcoming T20 World Cup 2026 during the mid-break innings of the second ODI played between India and South Africa on December 03 at Raipur.
With the ICC announcing the T20 World Cup 2026 schedule and Rohit Sharma being named as the official ambassador, the defending champions will be announcing their jersey for the competition.
India will be on a positive note during the Raipur ODI after a thrilling 17-run victory on the back of brilliant knocks from Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli, whose partnership gave the hosts a 1-0 lead.
Meanwhile, the Jersey launch will be a big moment during the Raipur ODI. The design is expected to feature fresh patterns and updated colours that reflect India’s campaign theme for the upcoming ICC event.
With the marquee event set to return to the subcontinent in 2026, co-hosted by India and Sri Lanka, the jersey reveal will be the start of India’s preparations for their title defence.
On the other hand, Rohit Sharma, who made a brilliant knock at Ranchi and is currently part of India’s ODI squad, was recently named the tournament ambassador for the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2026.

The Veteran batter has become the first ever playing ambassador for the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2026. During the fixtures launch event, Rohit Sharma shared a piece of advice to India’s current T20I captain, Suryakumar Yadav.
I would tell them to shut the outside noise, because that is something that we’ve created amongst ourselves, where when there’s a job at hand, how to focus on that, and I’m sure some of these guys are pretty good at that,” said Rohit Sharma, quoted by ICC.
India will play the USA in their tournament opener in Wankhede Stadium, Mumbai, before facing arch-rivals Pakistan on February 15 in Colombo.
The second ODI match against the Proteas Men will begin at 01:30 PM IST on December 03 at the Shaheed Veer Narayan Singh International Stadium, Raipur.
