WPL 2026 Auction Date: India’s franchise cricket Women’s Premier League is set for a mega auction after three successful seasons on November 27, 2025.

The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has revealed WPL 2026 rules and guidelines, the purse value for the franchises and the road map for the deadline for player retention submissions, franchises to provide player lists for the auction pool, the last date for player registrations, and the official auction player list to be released by the BCCI.

Earlier, all the teams revealed the WPL 2026 retained players list, where Delhi Capitals and Mumbai Indians retained a maximum of five players, while RCB retained four players.

Gujarat Titans and UP Warriorz have retained the least number of players – two and one, respectively.

Many fames, including World Cup winners like Deepti Sharma, Shree Charani, Kranti Gaud, Renuka Singh, and Harleen Deol, are in the WPL 2026 released players list and will be taking the stage in the WPL 2026 auction.

As per the WPL 2026 schedule, the tournament is likely to be played in the January-February window due to the commencement of the Women’s T20 World Cup 2026 played in the February-March Window, co-hosted by India and Sri Lanka.
