Most Wickets in WBBL 2025: The 11th season of the Women’s Big Bash League (WBBL) will begin on 9 November 2025 with the final match on 13 December 2025. WBBL 2025-26 will follow a Double round-robin and knockout finals format.
WBBL 2025-26 will be known as the Weber Women’s Big Bash League 2025 for sponsorship reasons. The competition features eight city-based franchises, branded identically to the men’s Big Bash League (BBL).
As per the WBBL 2025 schedule, the first match will be played between Brisbane Heat and Melbourne Renegades on November 9 in Allan Border Field, Brisbane.

WBBL 2025 Format
WBBL 2025 will follow a double round-robin and knockout finals format. The tournament will be played between eight teams, and a total of 43 matches will be played, which includes 40 league games.
The top four teams of the WBBL 2025 points table will advance to the knockout stage, where a Knockout and a Challenger will be played before the Final.
The first-placed team in the points table will advance to the final, while the knockout game will be played between the third and fourth-placed teams.
The winner of the knockout game will face the second-placed team in the Challenger match. The winner of the Challenger game will advance to the final of the tournament.
