Notably, Shikhar Dhawan who holds the record for scoring the most centuries in Champions Trophy hasn’t scored the fastest century in the tournament.

David Miller – 67 Balls vs New Zealand
In the 2025 edition of the Champions Trophy, South African batter David Miller scripts history by surpassing Virender Sehwag’s record for the fastest century in Champions Trophy history.
Miller reached the triple-digit mark in just 67 deliveries and became the fastest player to score a century in the Champions Trophy. Miller achieved this record during the second semifinal of Champions Trophy 2025 played between South Africa and New Zealand on March 5 in Gaddafi Stadium, Lahore.
Despite his record scripting century, South Africa lost the game and was eliminated from the tournament.
Virender Sehwag – 77 Balls vs England
During the 2002 Champions Trophy in Sri Lanka, Virender Sehwag scripted history by scoring the fastest century in the Champions Trophy during the 11th match of the season played against England at Colombo.
Speaking of the match, batting first England scored 269 runs after losing seven wickets. Ian Blackwell’s 82 remains the highest individual score for England where as Ashish Nehra and Anil Kumble bagged a couple of wickets each and contained England below 300 runs mark.
While chasing, Virender Sehwag and Sourav Ganguly opened the inning and scored a century each and laid a strong foundation for the team. India added 192 runs for the first wicket and etched their name in the list of Highest Partnership in Champions Trophy.
In just 39.3 overs, India chased down the target with ease and won the game by eight wickets.

Tillakaratne Dilshan – 87 Balls vs South Africa
Tillakaratne Dilshan’s 87 balls century against South Africa remains the fastest hundred in the Champions Trophy by a Sri Lankan player so far.
Dilshan achieved this feat during the opening game of the 2009 Champions Trophy played between South Africa and Sri Lanka at Centurion. Batting first, Sri Lanka scored 319 runs for 8 wickets loss and contained the host for 206 runs and won the game by 55 runs(DLS method).
Tillakaratne Dilshan’s 106 from 92 also became the first century of the 2009 Champions Trophy.

Marcus Trescothick – 89 Balls vs Zimbabwe
Marcus Trescothick’s 89 ball century against Zimbabwe becomes the second fastest century of the 2002 Champions Trophy.
In the seventh match of the tournament, batting first England scored 298 runs after losing eight wickets and successfully defended the target with ease and won the game by 108 runs. Marcus Trescothick and Nick Knight opened the inning for England and added 46 runs for the first wicket.
Though Knight returned pavilion with a score of just eight, Nasser Hussain and Trescothick added 141 runs for the second wicket. During the process, Marcus Trescothick scored a century in 89 balls and paved the way for the team to score 298 runs at the end of the first innings.
While defending, Ronnie Irani bagged four wickets while Matthew Hoggard bagged three wickets and contained Zimbabwe for 190 runs and won the game by 108 runs.
Andrew Flintoff – 89 Balls vs Sri Lanka
Andrew Flintoff’s 89 balls century against Sri Lanka in Champions Trophy 2004 became the fastest century in the tournament history by a non-opening batter.
Andrew Flintoff achieved this feat during the 10th match of the 2004 Champions Trophy played against Sri Lanka at Southampton. notably, Flintoff scored this century while batting at number five position.
With Flintoff’s century in the middle order, England scored 251 runs at the end of the first inning. With an impressive bowling performance, England contained Sri Lanka for 95 and won the game by 49 runs(DLS method).

Jacques Kallis – 91 Balls vs Sri Lanka
Jacques Kallis’s 91 balls century against Sri Lanka becomes the faster century in the knockout round of the Champions Trophy.
Jacques Kallis achieved this feat during the 1st semi-final of the ICC Champions Trophy 1998 played against Sri Lanka in Dhaka. With Kallis’ impressive century, South Africa scored 240 runs in the first innings after losing seven wickets.
While defending, Pat Symcox and Steve Elworthy bagged three wickets each and guided South Africa to win the game by 92 runs(DLS method). With the victory, South Africa advanced to the final and won the championship by beating West Indies in the final.

Sachin Tendulkar – 95 Balls vs Australia
Sachin Tendulkar’s 95-ball century against Australia in the Champions Trophy 1998 is the first-ever century in the Champions Trophy scored in less than 100 deliveries.
Sachin scripted this history on 28 October 1998 in Dhaka and recalled why Sachin Tendulkar is called as God of Cricket. Sachin’s 141 in the 1998 Champions Trophy also etched his name in the list of players with the Highest Individual Score in Champions Trophy.

Tom Latham – 95 Balls vs Pakistan
New Zealand wicketkeeper batter Tom Latham becomes the first New Zealand player to secure a century in the Champions Trophy under 100 deliveries. Latham achieved this feat during the opening game of Champions Trophy 2025 which was played between Pakistan and New Zealand at Karachi.
The century also marked the fifth occasion two times batters scored centuries in an innings in the Champions Trophy.

Ben Duckett – 95 Balls vs Australia
England batter Ben Duckett registered his maiden Champions Trophy century during the clash against Australia on 22 February in Lahore. Duckett’s TON in Lahore also marks his third century in the One Day Internationals which is also his second against Australia.
Ben Duckett achieved this feat during the fourth match of the ICC Champions Trophy 2025 which was scheduled to be played between Australia and England on 22 February at Gaddafi Stadium, Lahore.
