Suryakumar Yadav and Shivam Dube who were part of the recently concluded five-match T20I series in England tour of India 2025 have been included in Mumbai’s squad for the Ranji Trophy quarter-finals match against Haryana.
Mumbai qualified for the quarterfinals after their impressive victory by an innings and 456 runs against Meghalaya, while Jammu and Kashmir are the other teams to make it to the knockouts from Elite Group A.
The right-handed batter had struggled throughout the series, managing just 28 runs across five innings with scores of 0, 12, 14, 0 and 2.
His dismissals in the series have been in a similar way while attempting the flick shot. He consistently failed to counter the pace and bouncers from Jofra Archer, Mark Wood, Brydon Carse.
Veteran spinner Ravichandran Ashwin believes that despite Suryakumar Yadav’s batting woes, his impressive leadership has clinced 4-1 series win at T20I series.

Meanwhile Shivam Dube played in the last two matches of the T20I series and amassed 53 and 30 runs and 2 wickets in the two matches.
Suryakumar was part of Mumbai’s lineup against Maharashtra in October, while Dube played in last month’s home fixture against Jammu and Kashmir, where the star-studded Mumbai side including India’s Test and ODI captain Rohit Sharma and Yashasvi Jaiswal suffered a defeat.
The 42-times champions will travel to Rohtak to face Haryana, who topped Group C, at the Chaudhary Bansi Lal Cricket Stadium in Lahli.
Meanwhile uncapped pacer Harsh Tanna, who featured in four List A matches so far, has been included in the squad for the upcoming Ranji Trophy quarterfinals.
