The Men in Blues secured a 150-run victory in the final T20I of the five-match series in the England tour of India 2025. Indian bowlers went on to thrash England’s batting lineup to secure a huge win at Wankhede.
With this win, India secured a 4-1 series win in the five-match T20I series of the home tour. Earlier England won the toss and decided to bowl.
Earlier India posted a huge total of 247 runs with Abhishek Sharma’s 135 runs stand in the match.
Samson and Abhishek Sharma opened for the hosts where the former was dismissed by Mark Wood.
Then the fireworks of Abhishek Sharma begun as he smashed a 17 ball fifty. Along with Tilak Varma he made a 115-run partnership which helped the side to propel their score.
With Tilak Varma sent out for 24 runs, Abhishek went on to score 135 runs in 54 deliveries making him the higest individual scorer for India in T20Is.

Meanwhile Shivam Dube and Axar Patel are the other scorers for India helping the side to post a mammoth total against England.
Brydon Carse picked three wickets while Mark Wood had two scalps. However, Jofra Archer, Jamie Overton and Adil Rashid had one wicket each.
Despite having a fiery start, England struggled to score runs as they lost five wickets in quick succession with Indian bowlers tearing up visitors batting line-up in the final T20I of the five-match series.
It was Ben Duckett who was sent out on a golden duck and was the first one to fall in the batting line-up. Meanwhile, the England batters Jos Buttler, Harry Brook, and Liam Livingstone were sent out on single-digit scores in regular intervals.
Meanwhile Phil Salt was aggressive as he went on to score a fifty in 23 deliveries but was dismissed by Shivam Dube in the eight over.
Abhishek Sharma who impressed with bat, als picked the wickets of Brydon Carse and Jamie Overton in the ninth over of the match further troubling the visitors.
In the 11th over Shami went on to dismiss Adil Rashid and Mark Wood in the consecutive balls to end England’s innings for 97 runs.
