The Indian batter Shreyas Iyer is all set to be rewarded with a BCCI central contract for his impressive performance in India’s successful campaign in Champions Trophy 2025 after being snubbed from the central contracts for the 2024 season.

The BCCI’s contracts are typically ranked in four different pay categories. The A-plus category players will receive a salary of INR 7 crore, while A category will receive INR 5 crore while B and C grade will earn INR 3 and INR 1 crore respectively.
According to the BCCI regulations, players have to play either three tests, eight ODIs or 10 T20Is in a year.
