Champions Trophy 2025 Injured Players List: The ICC Men’s Champions Trophy 2025 is set to begin on February 19 to March 09 to be played between the top eight teams.
The tournament is set to return after eight years with defending Champions Pakistan named as hosts. This will be the first ICC event on home soil for the side since the ODI World Cup 1996.
Anyway, due to political tension, India has decided not to travel to Pakistan and their matches will take place in Dubai, adopting a hybrid model.
Matches will take place in Lahore, Karachi, Rawalpindi and Dubai ensuring a fair balance between teams. The tournament will feature two groups of four, with the top two teams from each group advancing to the semi-finals.
With all teams named their squads for the ICC event, several teams have suffered a major setback with players ruled out due to injury or personal reasons which impacts team strategies and balance.
Starting from South Africa’s Anrich Nortje several players including Jasprit Bumrah, and Pat Cummins has been ruled out of the Champions tournament due to injury.
