By the end of 10 overs, Bangladesh scored only 39 runs losing 5 wickets. Najmul Shanto-led Bangladesh will lock horns with Rohit Sharma-led side to play in the 2nd Match of the ICC Champions Trophy at Dubai International Stadium, Dubai.
India and Bangladesh have faced each other in 41 ODI matches so far where India has dominant results with 32 wins while Bangladesh has 8 victories and one ended in a no result.
Winning the toss, Bangladesh chose to bat considering the dew factor in the ground. But Indian bowlers proved to be nightmare for the side.
Shami who returned to the ICC tournament after a 14 month period injury, has striked for the Men in Blues and will rest the responsibility of the bowling department on his shoulders in the absence of Jasprit Bumrah who was ruled out due to Back Spasm.
