The young sensation Vaibhav Suryavanshi’s Knock of 101 off 38 deliveries has helped Rajasthan Royals to record their highest run chase against Gujarat Titans.
The Royals secured a solid 8-wicket victory in their must-win game against the Shubman Gill-led side. The Royals has secured their third win in 10 games with four games remaining to play in the group stages of the season.
Batting first, the Gujarat Titans scored 209 runs in their innings. Sai Sudharsan and Shubman Gill opened the innings while Jofra Archer opened the bowling attack.
They went on to score 53 runs in the powerplay, but Sai Sudharsan was dismissed by Theekshana for 39 runs. Jos Buttler joined Shubman Gill at the crease, facing the attacks of the Rajasthan Royals bowlers.
Shubman Gill went on to score his fifty and went on to score 84 runs before being dismissed by Theekshana.
Sundar who came to bat, lost his wicket to Sandeep Sharma for 13 runs. With Rahul Tewatia dismissed for 9 runs by Jofra Archer, Jos Buttler completed his fifty helping the side to post 209 runs in the score board.

In the pursuit of chasing a mammoth total, RR openers Yashasvi Jaiswal and Vaibhav Suryavanshi opened their innings.
They went on to score 87 runs in the powerplay. The young duo went on to cross the 100-run mark in the 8th over and quickened the run chase with 17-ball fifty from Suryavanshi.
He went on to slam his maiden IPL ton on 35 deliveries which is also the second fastest century in the tournament’s history. His knock has quickened the side’s 210-run chase in Monday’s clash.
However, he got dismissed by Prasidh Krishna for 101 runs. With the dismissal of Nitish Rana for four runs, Yashasvi Jaiswal went on to slam fifty.
Partnering with Riyan Parag, Jaiswal went on to score 70 runs off 40 deliveries while the former remained unbeaten with 32 runs off 15 deliveries.
During the 16th over, Rajasthan Royals completed their run chase to secure a home win.
