The 14-year-old Vaibhav Suryavanshi has smashed his maiden IPL century in the 2025 season game against the Gujarat Titans on April 28 at Jaipur.

He hit the hundred in 35 balls, which is the second fastest in IPL history. His knock has quickened the side’s 210-run chase in Monday’s clash. Earlier, he went on to hit a 17-ball fifty in the game and continued his aggressive batting style to achieve the feat.

In the pursuit of chasing a mammoth total, RR openers Yashasvi Jaiswal and Vaibhav Suryavanshi opened their innings.

They went on to score 87 runs in the powerplay. The young duo went on to cross the 100-run mark in the 8th over and quickened the run chase.

With the youngsters’ knock Rajasthan Royals have reached 155 runs in 11 overs. However, the side lost the first wicket for 166 runs with Suryavanshi dismissed by Prasidh Krishna for 101 runs.

Earlier, Gujarat Titans batted first and scored 209 runs in their innings. Sai Sudharsan and Shubman Gill opened the innings while Jofra Archer opened the bowling attack.

They went on to score 53 runs in the powerplay, but Sai Sudharsan was dismissed by Theekshana for 39 runs. Jos Buttler joined Shubman Gill at the crease, facing the attacks of the Rajasthan Royals bowlers.

Shubman Gill went on to score his fifty and went on to score 84 runs before being dismissed by Theekshana.

Sundar who came to bat, lost his wicket to Sandeep Sharma for 13 runs. With Rahul Tewatia dismissed for 9 runs by Jofra Archer, Jos Buttler completed his fifty helping the side to post 209 runs in the score board.
