WPL 2026 Auction Live Streaming: The fourth edition of the Women’s Premier League is expected to start on January 07, 2026 and will run until February 3, 2026. The WPL 2026 will follow a Double round robin and playoff format.
India’s franchise cricket Women’s Premier League is set for a mega auction after three successful seasons on November 27, 2025.
As per the WPL 2026 schedule, the tournament is likely to be played in the January-February window due to the commencement of the Women’s T20 World Cup 2026 played in the February-March Window, co-hosted by India and Sri Lanka.
WPL 2026 Auction Telecast Details
The WPL 2026 auction is scheduled to take place on 27 November 2025 in JW Marriott Hotel in Aerocity, New Delhi. The Player Auction will begin at 3:30 PM IST on the auction day.
All the teams revealed the WPL 2026 retained players list, where Delhi Capitals and Mumbai Indians retained a maximum of five players, while RCB retained four players.
Gujarat Titans and UP Warriorz have retained the least number of players – two and one, respectively.
Many World Cup winners like Deepti Sharma, Shree Charani, Kranti Gaud, Renuka Singh, and Harleen Deol, are in the WPL 2026 released players list and will be taking the stage in the WPL 2026 auction.
A total of 277 players for 73 available slots with the auction ahead of the new season.
The WPL 2026 auction players list includes 194 Indian players, comprising 52 capped and 142 capped players for 50 slots, while 66 overseas capped and 17 uncapped will look to fill in the 23 available slots.
