The Australian all-rounder Jess Jonassen has pulled out of the WPL 2026 mega auction after suffering a shoulder injury, which could significantly impact the franchise that will be planning ahead of the new season.

It is reported that the all-rounder communicated with the franchises on Wednesday, discussing her recovery from a shoulder issue and confirmed that she will not be available for the selection.

The WPL has also informed the franchises about the injured players, Pratika Rawal, Yastika Bhatia and VJ Joshitha, despite the players remain in the auction pool.
