With the ICC Men’s World Cup 2023 set to begin on October 5 and hosted by India, the first match of the tournament between England and New Zealand is scheduled to be played at Narendra Modi Stadium, Ahmedabad. On winning the toss New Zealand Chose to bowl first. Bairstow and Malan opened the innings for England while Trent Boult opened the attack.
