With only one day available before WPL 2024, the tournament’s social media handle has confirmed that several popular actors are set to perform in the opening ceremony of the Women’s domestic league.
Varun Dhawan to perform in WPL 2024 Opening Ceremony
The second edition of the WPL 2024 is set to begin in February 2024. After several actors like Siddharth Malhotra, Kartik Aryaan, and Tiger Shroff are set to perform in the opening ceremony, Varun Dhawan is also set to perform on the stage.
An official handle from X (Twitter) has confirmed the performance of Varun at Bengaluru saying,

The first season of the WPL was a great success as Harmanpreet Kaur led the Mumbai Indians to the title. They faced Delhi in the finals of the WPL 2023 schedule where Mumbai Indians won by 7 wickets.
Like WPL 2023, the second season will be also played between five teams and the teams played in the finals of the previous season will be playing in the inaugural match of this season.
As per WPL 2024 schedule the first match will be played between Mumbai Indians and Delhi Capitals on February 23 at M. Chinnaswamy Stadium.
