The Indian batter Shreyas Iyer has been handed the ICC Men’s Player of the Month award for March 2025 overtaking competitors Jacob Duffy and Rachin Ravindra from New Zealand.
He was India’s top run scorer with 243 runs, contributing significantly to India’s success in the ICC Champions Trophy 2025 in Dubai.
His exceptional performance in the middle order and ability to stabilise innings lead the side to the Champions Trophy triumph.
Shreyas Iyer expressed his gratitude and honour for being the ICC Men’s Player of the Month for March. He spoke about the significance of the award, and credited his teammates, Coaches and support staff for their contribution in his success.

He struck match-winning 29 runs in 98 balls to ensure India came out on top in their final group stage match against New Zealand.
His 45 runs partnership with Virat Kohli in the semi finals against Australia, before he once again laid the foundation for a successful run chase in the breathless final against New Zealand.
The 30 year old has amassed 172 runs in three games played in March, maintaining an average of 57.33 with a strike rate of 77.47 and he was the second highest run scorer of the Champions Trophy 2025 and only 20 runs behind Rachin Ravindra.
On the other hand, Australia’s Georgia Voll has been named as the ICC Women’s Player of the Month for March 2025.
