Roger Federer Nominates Virat Kohli and Many Others for “solo drill” at Home Amid Corona virus

Legendary Tennis player Roger Federer is among the long list of athletes who have taken refuge across social media platforms during the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.

The global crisis which has affected almost all businesses hasn’t spared the sports industry. For an industry which relies heavily on live events, it was bound to face severe consequences.

Federer took to his social media handles to post a unique “solo drill”. “Here’s a helpful solo drill. Let’s see what you got! Reply back with a video and I’ll provide some tips. Choose your hat wisely,” read the 38-year old player’s tweet.

Laying emphasis on “Training From Home” in the video, Federer has nominated plentiful renowned personalities which includes Toni Kroos, Bill Gates, Virat Kohli, Cristiano Ronaldo, Hugh Jackman, Rafael Nadal, Stephen Curry, Dwayne Johnson and others.

Had it not been for COVID-19, Kohli would have been leading Royal Challengers Bangalore in the 13th season of the Indian Premier League.

Kohli, who was previously nominated by Australia opening batsman David Warner to shave his head, was recently seen in an Instagram live session with former England batsman Kevin Pietersen. While Kohli hasn’t responded to any of the challenges, a few other notable names have tried their hands at Federer’s challenge.
