The UAE (United Arab Emirates) was bowled out for 57 runs during the Asia Cup 2025 game against India on September 10 at Dubai.
The spinners played a major role in dismantling the UAE’s batting line-up as Kuldeep Yadav, Axar Patel, Shivam Dube and Varun Chakravarthy picked 9 wickets in Wednesday’s clash.
After putting the UAE to bat first, India made a solid start with Bumrah picking the wicket of the opener Sharafu for 22 runs.
With Varun Chakravarthy picking the wickets of Muhammad Zohaib for 2 runs, UAE posted 41 runs for 2 wickets by the end of the power play.
Kuldeep Yadav assaulted the UAE in the ninth over of the innings, picking a total of three dismissals. He picked wicket of Rahul Chopra for 3 runs in the first ball of the over.
He continued to pick wickets of Muhammad Waseem and Harshit Kaushik for 19 and 2 respectively deeply wounding UAE’s line up as the hosts lost five wickets for 50 runs.

Shivam Dube who came to bowl, picked the wicket of Asif Khan for 2 runs. On the other hand, Axar Patel picked the wicket of Simranjeet Singh.
Withs Shivam Dube picking the wickets of Dhruv Parashar and Junaid Siddique for 1 and 0 respectively, Haider Ali got dismissed by Kuldeep Yadav in the first ball of the 14th over.
UAE scored only 57 runs where Kuldeep picked four wickets, Shivam Dube bagged three wickets while Axar Patel, Varun Chakravarthy and Jasprit Bumrah had one dismissals each.
India will be need 58 runs to claim their first win of the Asia Cup 2025 campaign.
In the pursuit of chasing 58 runs, Abhishek Sharma and Shubman Gill opened the innings while Haider Ali opened the bowling attack.
Abhishek made an aggressive start smashing 30 runs off 16 deliveries which included 2 fours and 3 sixes.
With Junaid bagged the wickets of Abhishek Sharma, Shubman Gill and Suryakumar Yadav went finish the game in the fifth over as Gill scored 20 and SKY finished with 7* runs.
