Both sides secured a win in their only match played in the ongoing season and will be aiming for a victory.
Earlier RCB Women won the toss and opted to bat. speaking at the toss Smriti Mandhana said, “Would like to field first. Dew has been a big factor in last couple of games. We’ve seen the wicket play better after first 6-7 overs.”
“Few things we could work on in terms of bowling and fielding. We had two good practice sessions. WPL isn’t like a long tournament that you have time to come back. Have to start well. One change for us. Ekta comes in.”
Meanwhile Meg Lanning said, ” Would’ve liked to have a bowl like most teams. But we’ve seen teams batting first do well.”
“Wicket stays pretty similar throughout. Was nice to be able to hold our nerve and get over the line. Learnt a lot from that game. Kappy and Jess Jonassen come back into the team. Capsey and Nikki miss out tonight.”
