The South African all-rounder Corbin Bosch has been reprimanded for breaching Level 1 of the ICC Code of Conduct during a T20I match against Australia at Darwin.
He was penalised for his send-off to Ben Dwarshuis during the second T20I match of the South Africa tour of Australia 2025.
He was found to have breached Article 2.5 of the ICC Code of Conduct for Players and Player Support Personnel, which relates to ‘using language, actions or gestures which disparage or which could provoke an aggressive reaction from a batter upon his/her dismissal during an International Match.’
In addition to this, one demerit point has been added to Corbin Bosch’s disciplinary record, which was the first offence in 24 months.
The incident occurred in the 17th over of the Australia’s innings where he dismissed Ben Dwarshuis and pointed to the dugout as the batter walked back. Corbin Bosch admitted the offence and accepted the sanction. This was the first offencefor Corbin Bosch, who was making his 11th international appearance.

On-field umpires Phillip Gillespie and Shawn Craig, third umpire Sam Nogajski and fourth umpire Donovan Koch levelled the charge.
Level 1 breaches carry a minimum penalty of an official reprimand, a maximum penalty of 50 per cent of a Player’s match fee and one or two demerit points.
South Africa secured a 53 run victory in the second T20I against Australia after a stunning T20I century from Dewald Brevis. The Proteas went on to score 218 runs in their innings.
Chasing the target, Australia went on to score only 165 runs with Tim David being the only scorer for the side.
Corbin Bosch and Kwena Maphaka went on to bag three wickets each helping the side to secure 53 run victory at Darwin.
