The South African batter Dewald Brevis has scored a stunning 41-ball century against Australia in a T20I at Darwin.
The 22-year-old Dewald Brevis made his maiden T20I hundred, helping the side cross the 200-run mark in their 20-over innings in the second T20I of the South Africa tour of Australia 2025.
Brevis showed no mercy to Australian bowlers smashing his hundred in international cricket. The right handed batter, plying his trade for Chennai Super Kings in the Indian Premier League, smashed eight sixes and nine boundaries when he got to his hundred.

Only David Miller has hit a T20I hundred in fewer deliveries that Dewald Brevis for South Africa when he smashed a 35-ball ton against Bangladesh in 2017.

Batting first, Aiden Markram and Ryan Rickelton opened the innings while Josh Hazlewood opened the bowling attack.
Despite Maxwell dismissed Markram and Lhuan dre Pretorius for 18 and 10 runs, Dwarshuis picked the wicket of Rickelton for 14 runs.
However Dewald Brevis went on to score 125* runs off 56 deliveries which included 12 fours and 8 sixes. With Tristan Stubbs’s 31 runs, Rassie van der Dussen, Corbin Bosch and Kagiso Rabada lost their wickets for cheaply as South Africa scored 218 runs in their 20 over innings.
Glenn Maxwell and Josh Hazlewood picked two wickets each while Hazlewood and Zampa picked a wicket each.
Australia secured a 1-0 lead after a 17-run victory in the first match and South Africa will be aiming to bounce back by defending the 219 run target at Marrara Cricket Ground, Darwin.
