On Saturday, Lahore Qalandars came face to face in a rain-affected PSL match. After winning the toss Qalandars opted to field in a 12-over per side affair. Zalmi got off to a blistering start on the back of their openers’ sublime hitting from the beginning. Tom Banton and Kamran Akmal amassed 32 runs before Pakistan international was dismissed by Shaheen Afridi. The right-hander attempted a stroke for a six off Afridi but ended up giving a catch to Sohail Akhtar.

Coming to the game, Lahore Qalandars lost the game by a margin of 16 runs as they managed to score only 116 runs for a loss of six wickets in 12 overs. In the end, Peshawar Zalmi grabbed two important points that took them to the fourth position in the league table.
