The BCCI has announced the release of the Request for Proposals for Staging IPL 2024 opening ceremony.
BCCI invites bids for Staging IPL 2024 Opening Ceremony
BCCI invites bids from entities for rights and obligations for staging the opening ceremony of the cash-rich league 2024 season. The terms and conditions for governing the Tender process including the eligibility criteria, and submission bids are mentioned in the Request for Proposal (RFP).
The RFP will be made available on receipt of payment of a non-refundable fee of INR one Lakh plus taxes. The procedure to claim the RFP documents is listed in Annexure A.
The RFP will be available till February 02, 2024. Interested Parties are requested to mail the payment details for the purchase of the RFP to [email protected].
The Interested parties wishing to participate in the bid must purchase the RFP. It is also clear that only the entities that satisfy all eligibility criteria shall be eligible for bit.
The Board of Cricket for Council in India has the right to cancel the bidding process at any stage in any manner without providing any reason.
The Cash-rich league is likely to start on March 22 and the dates of the elections are likely to be announced around the same time.
With BCCI source confirmed that the league is set to be played only in India, the schedule is yet to be announced. BCCI Secretary Jay Shah and Home Minister Amit Shah have been working on this matter.
