    Asia Cup 2025 Umpires: The Asia Cricket Council (ACC) has announced the match officials for the group stage of the tournament on Monday.

    The much-awaited Asia Cup 2025 is set to begin on September 09 in the United Arab Emirates. Cricket fans are eagerly awaiting the thrilling match between India and Pakistan, which will be played on September 14.

    The continental event will be played in T20I format, played between 8 teams, with five full members of the ACC – Afghanistan, Bangladesh, India, Pakistan and Sri Lanka have been automatically qualified for the tournament.

    Meanwhile United Arab Emirates, Oman and Hong Kong, the teams which finished in the top three in the 2024 Acc Men’s Premier Cup.

    With lots of interesting matchups and games during the continental events, the Asian Cricket Council (ACC) has announced the list of umpires for the group stage games which includes several experienced umpires.

    Expereinced West Indies’ Richie Richardson and Zimbabwe Andy Pycroft has been been named as Match referees.

    Indian has a strong representation in the Asia Cup 2025 officiating team, with Virender Sharma and Rohan Pandit bot part of the ICC umpire panel. Their inclusion is seen as a positive step and reflects India’s growing presence in the field of cricket umpiring.
