    Vaibhav Suryavanshi 15-ball Fifty Powers Rajasthan to 76 Runs in Powerplay vs SRH

    A fifty from Vaibhav Suryavanshi has powered Rajasthan Royals to 76 runs in the powerplay despite losing the wicket of Yashasvi Jaiswal in the IPL 2026 game against Sunrisers Hyderabad.

    He went on to smash 7 sixes and one four to make his fifty in 15 balls. The youngster has been impressive with the bat since his debut, consistently delivering strong performances.

    After being invited to bat first, Yashasvi Jaiswal and Vaibhav Suryavanshi opened the innings while Praful Hinge opened the bowling attack. The 15-year-old made four back-to-back sixes as the side posted 25 runs in the first over.

    Eshan Malinga brought the first breakthrough dismissing Yashasvi Jaiswal for 10 runs. He got dismissed on a length delivery which had bounce, strikes in the mid on where Klaasen takes the catch.

    With Dhruv Jurel joining Vaibhav Suryavanshi at crease, Rajasthan Royals went on to score 76 runs in the powerplay.

    In the 9th over, the side went on to cross 100 run mark aiming to post a big total in their innings.

    The duo made a 112-run partnership for the second wicket where Dhruv Jurel made his fifty off 34 deliveries. Nitish Reddy bagged the wicket of Dhruv Jurel where the ball gone to Aniket Verma in cover.

    On the other hand, Vaibhav Suryavanshi smashed his 100 in 36 deliveries which included 5 fours and 12 sixes. However, he got dismissed on a lbw from a Sakib Hussain’s delivery.

    With Pat Cummins bowled out Riyan Parag for 7 runs, Eshan Malinga picked the wicket of Donovan Ferreira for 33 runs. With his dismissal, Rajasthan Royals lost 5 wickets for 214 runs. Meanwhile, Shimron Hetmyer got dismissed on a full toss delivery from Praful Hinge for 11 runs.

    With Ravindra Jadeja and Jofra Archer on crease, Rajasthan Royals went on to score 228 runs in the powerplay.

    Eshan Malinga picked two wickets while, Praful Hinge, Pat Cummins, Sakib Hussain and Nitish Reddy bagged one wicket each.
