A video of Ruturaj Gaikwad and Khaleel Ahmed has sparked rumours of ball tampering in CSK vs MI in IPL 2025 on social media has gone viral.
The actions have fueled the accusations of ball tampering despite it is not clear what Khaleel gave to Gaikwad. Chennai Super Kings secured a stunning four-wicket victory in the opener match against Mumbai.
In the clip, Ruturaj can been seen approaching Khaleel when the pacer took something from the left pocket of his pants. The CSK skipper had the ball in his hand and was talking to each other when they weren’t facing the camera.
By the time they got towards the camera, Khaleel took the ball from Ruturaj and handed something to the CSK skipper who was seen snucking something in his pocket.

Khaleel Ahmed made a quite notable contribution picking three wickets to restrict Mumbai for 155 runs. He picked the wickets of Rohit Sharma, Ryan Rickelton and Trent Boult.
While one section of fans felt it was ball tampering, other defended it saying that the pacer gave his ring to the captain.
One fans slammed people accusing the team of ball tampering saying that the bowler doesn’t have to fall on such tricks with the new ball.
CSK won the toss and opted to bowl first. Mumbai got to score 155 runs with a knocks from Suryakumar Yadav, Tilak Varma and Deepak Chahar in the end.
Noor Ahmad picked four wickets in the match including MS Dhoni‘s impressive stumping of SKY. CSK were able to chase the target thanks to fifties from Rachin Ravindra and Ruturaj Gaikwad.
