The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCi) will host the ICC Women’s World Cup 2025 which is likely to begin in September. As part of the preparations, the BCCI has revealed the list of venues for ICC Women’s World Cup 2025.

With the ICC yet to release the official schedule, the key venues have already been shortlisted.

Being named as the host for Women’s World Cup 2025, the Indian board has confirmed Vizag, Mullanpur (Punjab), Indore, Trivandrum, and Guwahati as the five host cities for the marquee events in September.

The selection of venues were reportedly based up on the weather patterns and logistical convenience. The decision was taken during the BCCI’s apex council meeting in Kolkata on Saturday where the officials mapped out the early framework for the 13th edition of the Women’s ODI World Cup.

Meanwhile, Pakistan will play all their matches in Sri Lanka as part of the Hybrind hosting model. This move comes after the recent arrangement between the ICC, BCCI and PCB for the Champions Trophy 2025.

Pakistan hosted the the event, but India’s matches have been played in Dubai due to political tension between the country. As a result, the BCCI has agreed to ensure that Pakistan’s matches in future ICC tournament held in India will be played at netural venues to ensure continuity of play.

However, Pakistan’s participation in the Women’s World Cup 2025 is not yet confirmed. The team will have to earn their spot through the World Cup Qualifiers, which is scheduled to be held in Pakistan from April 09 to 19. The six-team tournament will determine the final two teams that will advance to the World Cup later this year.

Pakistan will need to finish among the top two to secure their place in the main tournament. Meanwhile, the Women’s World Cup 2025 schedule is yet to be released and India at the helm as host, the tournament is expected to provide a big boost to the women’s game in the subcontinent.
