At the age of 24, Priyansh Arya scored the fastest IPL century against Chennai Super Kings which also turned out to be his maiden IPL century.
During the PBKS vs CSK match at Mullanpur, Priyansh Arya brings up his maiden hundred in just 39 balls which includes seven boundaries and nine sixes. Priyansh Arya’s 39-ball IPL century becomes the fifth overall fastest hundred in IPL in terms of balls faced.

Speaking of the match, Punjab Kings won the toss and opted to bat first. Priyansh Arya and Prabhsimran Singh opened the innings for Punjab Kings while Khaleel Ahmed opened the bowling attack.
Priyansh Arya kickstarted the innings with a six off the first delivery and became only the fourth batter to do so in IPL history.

Khaleel Ahmed on the second delivery, dropped Arya and made a massive blunter. Priyansh Arya continued to smash the bowler and managed to score 17 runs off the first over which included a no ball. In the very next over, Mukesh Choudhary dismissed Prabhsimran for duck and made an early breakthrough for CSK.
In the followed over, Khaleel Ahmed dismissed PBKS captain Shreyas Iyer for 9 runs and bagged the biggest wicket for CSK. Khaleel again in the fifth over dismissed Stoinis for 4 runs and loaded pressure over the PBKS batting lineup.
Though PBKS lost three wickets in five overs, Priyansh Arya on the other hand, continued to strike aggressively and dragged PBKS to score 75 runs for three wickets at the end of first powerplay.
With six of the final delivery of the powerplay, Priyansh Aryabrings up his maiden IPL fifty in just 19 deliveries.

With Ashwin’s couple of dismissals in the 8th over, Punjab Kings managed to score 94 runs for five wickets at the end of 10 overs. In the 12th over, Priyansh Arya survived a catch dismissal after Mukesh touched the boundary rope in deep.
Priyansh Arya continued to dominate the CSK bowlers and scored his maiden IPL century in just 39 balls.
