LSG Released Players 2026 List: The Lucknow Super Giants had a disappointing campaign in the IPL 2025 season, having claimed only 6 wins out of 14 games and completing the group stages in seventh position of the points table.
The side’s performance has been affected by injury concerns and the high price tag of players who underperformed during the season.
Ahead of the IPL 2026 season, the side will be aiming to revamp the squad by releasing some high-priced players and underperforming players to strengthen the squad during the IPL 2026 auction.
The IPL 2026 player auction is scheduled to be a one-day mini-auction held on December 16, 2025, at Etihad, Abu Dhabi. With the IPL 2026 schedule yet to be revealed, the tournament will likely follow the usual March-May Window.
According to IPL 2026 auction rules, there are no restrictions on the number of players who can be released or retained.
In addition to the purse remaining from the previous auction and the value of the players they release, teams will likely to have a total purse value of INR 151 crore for the upcoming season.
