CSK Released Players 2026 List: The Chennai Super Kings had a disappointing IPL 2025 season, finishing at the bottom of the points table with only four wins in the group stage games.
Known for their comeback, CSK needs to make a major rebuild of to squad for the upcoming season.
Ahead of the IPL 2026 season, the side will be aiming to revamp the squad by releasing some high-priced players and underperforming players to strengthen the squad during the IPL 2026 auction.
With the deadline for submitting the retention players list ending by November 15, BCCI planned to hold the IPL 2026 mini auction on December 16, 2025. With the IPL 2026 schedule yet to be revealed, the tournament will likely follow the usual March-May Window.
According to IPL 2026 auction rules, there are no restrictions on the number of players who can be released or retained. In addition to the purse remaining from the previous auction and the value of the players they release, teams will likely to have a total purse value of INR 151 crore for the upcoming season.
