On the other hand, Gujarat Titans secured 5 wins out of two games with their victories comes in the games against Mumbai Indians, Royal Challengers Bengaluru, Sunrisers Hyderabad, Rajasthan Royals and Delhi Captials.
With Kolkata has secured seventh place, Gujarat sits comfortably in the top place of the IPL 2025 Points table.
Kolkata Knight Riders won the toss and opted to Bowl first. Speaking at the toss, KKR captain Ajinkya Rahane said, “We are going to bowl first. Pitch is on the drier side, we’ll get an idea when we bowl. All the players are working hard. It’s all about being positive. Not too worried about middle-order. Gurbaz comes in and Moeen Ali comes in as well.”
On the other hand, GT captain Shubman Gill said, ” I don’t think there’ll be any dew. Everyone has been contributing with wickets. (On Rashid Khan) The skill-set that he brings and the energy on the field, any captain would love to have him.”
