IPL 2025 Points Table: The 18th edition of the Indian Premier League is set to be played between 22 March and 25 May 2025 in India.
As per IPL 2025 schedule the first match will be played between Kolkata Knight Riders and Royal Challengers Bengaluru on 22 March 2025 in Eden Gardens, Kolkata. A total of 74 matches will be played between 10 participating teams.
IPL teams will be categorised into two groups of five teams where a total of 70 group matches will be played before the playoff round.

IPL Points Table 2025 Rules
IPL Points Table 2025 Rules: During the league stage, two points are awarded to a side for a win and one in case of a washout.
- For a Win, the winning team gets 2 points
- In case of match is abandoned or ends abruptly or No Result, each team will be awarded 1 point.
- In case of loss, the defeated team get 0 points
In the case of a tie, in the IPL score table, the following points will be taken into consideration.
- Team with a higher number of points.
- If points are equal, the higher number of team wins will be considered
- If still, the points are equal, the net run rate is seen
- If still there is a tie, the team with the lower bowling strike rate will be considered
- If still there is equality, it results in a head-to-head meeting.
IPL 2025 Format
IPL Points Table 2025 Rules: The format of the IPL 2025 edition will be the same as the previous year. Following are the details of the IPL 2025 Format:
- The ten teams are divided into two groups of five.
- A random draw was used to determine the groups and who plays whom across the groups once and twice.
- In the group stage, each team plays 14 games facing the other four teams in their group two times each (one home and one away game), four teams in the other group once, and the remaining team two times.
- IPL Points Table system: The team winning a match will be awarded 2 points. The losing team will not receive any points. In case of a draw or no result, both teams will be awarded 1 point.
- A four-game playoff stage following the Page playoff system is held after the group stage. Four games will be played in the playoffs:

- Qualifier 1: between the teams ranked first and second in the group stage.
- Eliminator: between the teams ranked third and fourth in the group stage.
- Qualifier 2: between the loser of Qualifier 1 and the winner of the Eliminator.
- Final: between the winners of Qualifiers 1 and 2.
