Melbourne Stars Batting

Stoinis and Andre Fletcher get into the crease to lead Melbourne Stars. Jonathan Cook opens the attack on behalf of the Sydney Thunder. Stoinis seeks to prove his worth in this match as he got dismissed for duck in the opening match against Brisbane Heat.

Khawaja and Hales get into the crease to lead Sydney Thunder. While Maxwell opens the attack on behalf of Melbourne Stars. Melbourne Stars are in need to pick early wickets in order to put pressure on the Sydney Thunder.

As expected Dilbar Hussain makes the first blow for Sydney Thunder by dismissing Khawaja for 7 runs. At the end of the 5 over Sydney Thunder scored 41 runs for 1 wicket loss.

Melbourne Stars struggles to make another wicket which is a much-needed break for Melbourne Stars. Callum Ferguson and Alex Hales drag Sydney Thunder to score 68 runs for 1 wicket loss at the end of the 10th over.

Finally in the 13th over Hinchliffe makes the much-expected breakthrough by dismissing Hales for 46 runs. On the other hand, Ferguson makes his maiden BBL10 half-century and dismissed of the same over bowled by Liam Hatcher.

At the end of the 15th over Sydney Thunder scored 116 runs for 3 wicket loss and in need of 54 runs to win the match. Liam Hatcher in the 17th over dismissed Daniel Sams and Cutting of the same over and makes a massive blow for Sydney Thunder while chasing.

Sydney Thunder are in need of 36 runs off the last 12 deliveries. Cutting in the 19th over makes a couple of wickets by dismissing Ross(18) and Chris Green(5). Adam Zampa gets into bowl the final over of the innings and bagged a couple of wickets by dismissing McAndrew(6) and Baxter Holt(1).

With a massive effort in both bat and ball, Melbourne Stars beats Sydney Thunder by 22 runs.
