- The tournamen follows a Double Round- robin and playoffs (knock-out stage).
- Teams are awarded 2 points for a win in each match. A tie, no result, or abandoned match results in 1 point being shared between the teams. No points are awarded for a loss.
- Teams are ranked on the points table according to their total points accumulated.
If two or more teams are tied on points, Net Run Rate (NRR) is used as the primary tie-breaker. - The topper of the WPL 2026 Points Table will directly qualify for the final.
