WPL 2026 DC Squad: The Delhi Capitals had another heartbreaking season in WPL 2025 as they finished as runners-up after suffering a narrow 8-run defeat against the Mumbai Indians in the finals.
All the teams revealed the WPL 2026 retained players list, where Delhi Capitals and Mumbai Indians retained a maximum of five players, while RCB retained four players.
Gujarat Titans and UP Warriorz have retained the least number of players – two and one, respectively.
Many fames, including World Cup winners like Deepti Sharma, Shree Charani, Kranti Gaud, Renuka Singh, and Harleen Deol, are in the WPL 2026 released players list and will be taking the stage in the WPL 2026 auction.
The much-awaited WPL 2026 auction will be held on 27 November 2025 in New Delhi, marking the start of team preparations for the upcoming season.
The WPL 2026 season is set to be played in the January-February window, as the tournament is set to be preponded due to India co-hosting the Women’s T20 World Cup 2026 with Sri Lanka in February-March.
As per the WPL 2026 schedule, the first match of the tournament will be played on January 9, while the finals will be played on February 07.
