    Player of the Match

    Will Smeed

Last night I got a call (that I was playing). Been buzzing since then. It is the biggest stage I have played on, bit nervy but got into it pretty quickly.

I started to enjoy it. I was nervous, but me and Finn thought we would just go out there and play freely, the coaches also told us to have fun.

Every batter likes to bat in the powerplay in white-ball cricket and I was lucky to get the opportunity today. I have batted everywhere for Somerset this year due to injuries and unavailability, so I have got a taste of batting in a lot of spaces.
