Saud Shakeel snapped a fifty during the Champions Trophy 2025 clash against India played on February 23.
After losing crucial wickets of Babar Azam and Imam-ul-Haq in back-to-back overs. Pakistan went wicketless for 41 runs but went on to lose two wickets for 47 runs.
However, Mohammad Rizwan and Saud Shakeel built up a partnership for the third wicket helping the side to cross 100+ runs.
Saud Shakeel went on to score fifty on 63 deliveries which included five fours. Playing 18 ODIs, Shakeel has 346 runs with a high score of 68 and averages 24.71 in ODIs.
Hardik Pandya provided India’s first breakthrough dismissing Babar Azam, who scored 23 runs. Soon, Axar Patel struck soon after with a sharp direct hit from mid on, dismissing Imam-ul-Haq for 10 runs.

The clash in Dubai will be a crucial game for Pakistan who lost their first match of the 2025 Champions Trophy against New Zealand at Karachi.
On the other hand, India will play their second game of the edition with much confidence after defeating Bangladesh in Thursday’s game.
Pakistan and India have played 135 matches in ODI format. Out of those, India has won 57 matches while Pakistan has 73 wins.
After the 2017 Champions Trophy, India and Pakistan have played 6 ODIs, of which India has an advantage of 5 wins and 1 ended with no result.
