The opening batter Sahibzada Farhan went on to make a solid knock in the Super 4s clash of the Asia Cup 2025 against India played on September 21.
His 45-ball 58 has give base for Pakistan team to post 171 runs on the Sunday’s clash.
After being put to bat first, Pakistan went on to post 55 runs in the powerplay. Sahibzada Farhan and Fakhar Zaman went on to open the innings for Pakistan while Hardik Pandya opened the bowling attack.
Despite the dismissal of Zaman for 15 runs on the back of the wicket, Farhan and Saim Ayub made a solid start for the side scoring a total of 93 for the second wicket.
Shivam Dube brought the second and third dismissals for India picking the wickets of Saim Ayub and Sahibzada Farhan for 21 and 58 runs.
In between, Kuldeep bagged the wicket of Hassan Talat for 10 runs. After Mohammad Nawaz’s dismissal on a run out, Salman Agha and Faheem Ashraf went on to trouble Indian bowlers in the death overs posting a competitive total against India.
Shivam Dube bagged two wickets while Hardik Pandya and Kuldeep Yadav finished with one wickets each.

Speaking at the toss, Suryakumar Yadav said, “We’ll bowl first. Looks a nice track and yesterday there was dew. Since first round we were thinking we’re playing a knockout tournament, nothing changes.”
“That was a completely different wicket (in Abu Dhabi). Quite normal, just another game. Bumrah and Varun come back for Arshdeep and Harshit,” concluded SKY.
Meanwhile Salman Agha said, “Would’ve bowled first as well. It’s a new game, new challenge. The mood is very normal. Pitch looks to be on the slower side. Want to start well with both bat and ball. Two changes. Hasan Nawaz and Khushdil Shah not playing.”
