The Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB Women) has scored 125 runs for 7 wickets in their innings during the WPL 2025 clash against Gujarat Giants on February 27.

Despite suffering dismissals at regular intervals, RCB Women managed to reach the score for the likes of Raghvi Bist and Kanika Ahuja’s partnership in the match.

RCB suffered a set back losing three wickets in the powerplay for 26 runs. They lost the wickets of Danni Wyatt, Ellyse Perry and Smriti Mandhana for 25 runs within the end of the power play.

Deandra Dottin bagged the wicket of Danni Wyatt on a lbw for four runs while Ashleigh Gardner dismissed Ellyse Perry on a duck. Meanwhile, Smriti Mandhana was sent out by Tanuja Kanwar for 10 runs.

However, they managed to get back with a partnership from Raghavi Bist and Kanika Ahuja for the fourth wicket.

Raghvi scored 22 runs off 19 deliveries before being dismissed on a run out. In the next over, Tanuja Kanwar bagged the wicket of Kanika Ahuja for 33 runs.

Georgia Wareham and Kim Garth’s contribution in the last overs has helped their side to cross 100+ runs.

Wareham scored 20* while Kim Garth scored 14 runs in their innings. Deandra Dottin and Tanuja Kanwar bagged two wickets each while Ash Gardner and Kashvee Gautam scalped a wicket each.

Speaking after RCB innings, Kashvee Gautam said, “The plan was to bowl as many dots as possible and keep it on the stumps, I’m happy that I was able to execute that. My strength is swing so I focused on bowling it in the right areas.”

“(On her celebration) I thought of changing something, nothing much about it. I bowl from wider of the crease to create an angle and try to bowl it cross-seam. Pitch is very good for batting, the ball was coming on nicely to the bat, so it’s a very chaseable score.”
