Nat Sciver-Brunt smashes her fourth WPL fifty during the WPL 2025 clash against Delhi Capitals played on February 15 at Kotambi Stadium. She achieved the feat in 37 deliveries helping the side to stabilize the innings after three dismissals.
Sciver-Brunt who played 19 WPL games before the match, has scored 504 runs with an average of 36.00 and a strike rate of 132.28.

After openers Yastika Bhatia and Hayley Matthews dismissed early, Nat Sciver-Brunt came up with an impressive fifty. After a 72 run partnership with Harmanpreet Kaur for the third wicket, Mumbai crossed by the 100 run mark.
Amelia Kerr joined after Kaur’s dismissal with a rapid 42 runs off 22 balls to help the side recover from 2 early wickets.

Mumbai Indians who was set to bat first, started with Yastika Bhatia and West Indies opener Hayley aiming for a solid start.
Despite losing the wicket of Hayley Matthews for a duck, Mumbai Indians women aimed off for a fiery start as they scored 41 by the end of powerplay.
Earlier in the toss, Mumbai Indians captain Harmanpreet Kaur said, “Definitely bowling, but we saw last night the ball was coming on to the bat nicely and hopefully we will bat well.”
“Last season we wanted to play fearless cricket and this season also we would look to do that. Doing the right things is what we want to do.”
“We did not want to try anything new, last season we got a bit of success and in the first season we did everything right.”
“So we don’t plan to try anything new this season even though we have a debutant tonight and she brings a lot of balance to the side,” concluded Kaur.
