The Mumbai Indians (MI Women) scored 66 runs in the power play during the WPL 2025 match against Royal Challengers Bengaluru on February 21.
Despite losing two wickets in the powerplay, Nat Sciver-Brunt’s aggressive knock during the powerplay has helped the side to lay a solid platform in their run chase.
Yashtika Bhatia and Hayley Matthews were dismissed by Kim Garth and Ekta Bisht for 8 and 15 respectively. After Matthews’ dismissal, Harmanpreet Kaur joined the Nat Sciver-Brunt in their run chase.

Mandhana who had a fiery start, smashed 26 runs off 13 deliveries and was sent out by Shabnim Ismail.
With Nat Sciver Brunt dismissing Danni Wyatt for 9 runs, Hayley Matthews and Sanskriti Gupta bagged the wickets of Raghvi Bist and Kanika Ahuja cheaply further troubling RCB.
All-rounder Ellyse Perry has smashed her second fifty of the season during the match. Amanjot Kaur who came to bowl in the middle overs, picked the wickets of Richa Ghosh and Goergia Wareham for 28 and 6 respectively to restrict the side on make a partnership.
Ellyse Perry scored 81 runs on 43 deliveries which included 11 fours and 2 sixes before being dismissed on the fifth ball of the last over.
With contributions from Kim Garth and Ekta Bisht, RCB scored 167 in the match. Mandhana, Richa Ghosh and Ellyse Perry are the only scorers for Bengaluru.
Amanjot Kaur picked three wickets while Shabnim Ismail, Nat Sciver-Brunt, Hayley Matthews and Sanskriti Gupta picked one wicket each.
