The Indian all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja has picked the wicket of Tom Latham in the 24th over of the finals in the Champions Trophy 2025 to put pressure on New Zealand as they lost four wickets for 108 runs on Sunday clash.
Jadeja dismissed Latham for 14 runs in a lbw to haunt the Kiwis in the summit clash of the tournament.
New Zealand lost their first wicket of Will Young for 15 runs while Kuldeep Yadav picked the wickets of Rachin Ravindra and Kane Williamson for 37 and 11. Tom Latham who came to bat at 5 lost his wicket to Indian all-rounder.
Despite a solid start, New Zealand lost wickets to Indian bowlers at regular intervals which made them stutter in their innings.

Batting first, Rachin Ravindra and Will Young opened the innings while Mohammed Shami opened the attack. The Kiwi openers aimed for a solid start as they put pressure on Indian bowlers Shami and Hardik.
In the 4th over of the inning from Hardik Pandya, Rachin Ravindra scored 16 runs in an over which gave momentum for the Kiwis.
The young all-rounder got two lifelines with Shami and Shreyas Iyer dropping his catch in the seventh over.
India who is desperate for a wicket, introduced Varun Chakravarthy to the bowling in the powerplay who bagged the wicket of Will Young for 15 runs.
Willamson came to bat and the duo posted 69 runs in the powerplay. Kuldeep Yadav who was introduced to bowling in the 11th over, went on to pick the wicket of Rachin Ravindra on the very first ball for 37 runs.
He once again picked a wicket of Kane Williamson in the 13th over due to which Kiwis lost three wickets for 75 runs.
Tom Latham and Daryl Mitchell are aiming to recover the side for top order collapse to balance the score in the board. By the end of 20 overs, New Zealand scored 101 runs for three wickets.
With the duo slowly building their partnership, Jadeja picked wicket of Tom Latham for 14 runs on a lbw in the 24th over of the match.
