IND A set to face PAK A in Emerging men’s Asia Cup 2023 final

The Emerging Men’s Asia Cup 2023 final game is about to happen at R. Premadasa Stadium, Colombo where IND and PAK will meet once again in the tournament and this time for the title.

The emerging India team has set up a potential for Emerging Asia Cup final against Pakistan as they beat Bangladesh A by 51 runs in the Semifinals in Colombo.

In the semifinals, Bangladesh had India on the ropes, bundling them on 211 runs. But on Yash Dhull’s efforts with 66 runs out of 85 deliveries. The Indian spinner made use of the pitch to fold Bangladesh off for 160 runs celebrating their victory.

Nishant Sindhu had made a wonderful five-wicket haul against Bangladesh giving 20 runs only. Yash Dhull was known as Protagonist for India’s victory against Bangladesh. He was known as the Indian domestic circuit as a player and the day’s innings showed the reason.

Yash Dhull had taken more responsibilities on his shoulders at the young age of 20. He came into the field when India was struggling with 75 runs for losing two wickets in the 19th over.

He handled a set of Bangladesh bowlers, who exploited other Indian batters with their spell. Indian batters fell into the hands of Bangladesh bowlers and put more responsibility on the Indian captain pushing the innings toward Yash Dhull.

He handled the pressure with complete confidence and assurance on taking the team towards victory. Yash batted for 30 overs in the match and he was dismissed on the 50th over of their innings.

Yash Dhull and Manav Suther combined and made 41 runs for India close to 200 run mark, which they eventually managed to go past. Bangladesh had made some big scores at starting their innings. Bangladesh openers Tanzid Hasan and Mohammad Naim punished Indian bowlers with their scores.

Nishant Sindhu’s outstanding bowling wreaked havoc, dismissing key batsmen Tanzid Hasan (15), Zakir Hasan (10), and captain Saif Hassan (22). Mahmudul Hasan Joy fought valiantly with a resilient 46, but Bangladesh A’s middle-order collapse proved fatal.

Yuvrajsinh Dodiya and Manav Suthar picked up crucial wickets, ensuring Bangladesh A was bundled out for 160 in 34.2 overs. Bangladesh reached 70 runs in 11 overs. The ball began to lose its shine and Indian Spinners brought their team back into the match.

Left-arm spinner Suthar evicted Naim and that kicked off a procession of Bangladesh batsmen back to the pavilion. They lost the rest of the nine wickets for 90 runs to complete a wonderful bowling as Sindhu showed his magic.

On the other hand, Pakistan A defeated Sri Lanka A by 60 runs and become the first semifinal to enter the summit clash.

As India A team had a victory against Pakistan A in the 12th group match of Asia Cup 2023, on July 20, 2023, at R.Premadasa Stadium, Colombo where India won by 8 wickets in hand. The finals match is expected to happen with huge expectations.
