The official Champions Trophy anthem is produced by Abdullah Siddiqui, with Adnan Dhool and Asfandyar Asad crafting the lyrics. The music video highlights Pakistan’s vibrant culture, featuring street-side scenes, bustling markets and an autentic local backdrop.
“I am very fond of cricket and I always wanted to be a fast bowler. Having the passion and understanding of the game – I feel connected to the adrenaline of the crowd, their cheers and the feeling of being a fan.”
“I used to wait for matches, in particular the India versus Pakistan game, which was always full of emotions and sentimental value. And that is why I am very excited to have been a part of the ICC Men’s Champions Trophy 2025 official song,” Atif Aslam said.
The upcoming edition marks the tournament’s return after eight years, with defending champions Pakistan serving co-hosts alongside Dubai in hybrid model.
Pakistan was initially the lone hosts, but citing security concerns, India refused to travel to Pakistan, which made ICC to announce hybrid model for the tournament.
India’s all matches will be played in Dubai. If they qualify for the semi-finals, the match will also be played in Dubai. However, if India fails to progress to knockouts, the semi finals and finals will be played in Pakistan.
The Champions Trophy 2025 is set to take place between February 19 and March 09. The event will have many high-stake encounters including IND-PAK clash. Pakistan will play in the opener match against New Zealand on February 19 at Karachi.
