The 19 year old debutant Sam Konstas said he didn’t Virat Kohli would give him a ‘shoulder charge when he was taking care of his gloves after the end of the over.
Australia opener Sam Konstas reacted to a shoulder shover he got from Virat Kohli on Day 01 of the Boxing Day Test of the Border Gavaskar Trophy.
The debutant got emotions got the better of him and Virat Kohli as they were involved in a heater altercation that got the cricket world debating whether ICC should take strict against the former Indian captain.

Ricky Ponting and Michael Vaughan said Kohli was the one to be blamed and ICC match referee Andy Pycroft should definitely look into the matter.
“I think emotions got to both of us. I didn’t realise. I was just doing my gloves when I got the little shoulder charge but it happens in cricket,” said Konstas.
The incident occured after the 10th over of the morning when Kohli and Konstas bumped shoulders while moving across the pitch once the over ended.
Both players looked back for a death stare and exchanged words before Konstas’ partner Usman Khawaja came in between, although the verbal dual didn’t last long.
Replays emerged later showed that Konstas had turned around from the crease and was walking straight towards the other end whereas Kohli while tossing the ball in his hand went from way outside the pitch straight towards Konstas and bumped into him.
Konstas scored 18 runs off an over by Bumrah and a total of 34 in a spell. His knock helped Australia to score 112 runs which is the most runs in the first session of Boxing Day test history.
