Hasan Nawaz slammed an unbeaten century and helped Pakistan to beat New Zealand by 9 wickets in the third T20I played in Auckland.
He went on to slam the fastest T20I century for Men in Green, reaching there in 44 balls and chased down 205 runs in 16 overs of the third T20I match of the Pakistan tour of New Zealand 2025.
After making his debut in the ongoing series, Hasan Nawaz dismissed for duck on first and secon T20Is before making his maiden hundred in the format.
Batting first New Zealand managed to score 204 runs with Mark Chapman starring with a 44 ball 94 runs which included 11 fours and 44 balls faced.
The host nation were looking set for a huge score at one stage, but Pakistan pulled the Kiwis back towards the end with Haris Rauf taking three crucial wickets.

Afridi, Abrar Ahmed and Abbas Afridi bagged two wickets each to bundle out New Zealand for 204 runs.
Chasing the 205 runs, Mohammad Haris and Hasan Nawaz made a 74 run partnership for the first wicket before the former being dismissed by Jacob Duffy for 41 runs.
Salman Agha joined Hasan Nawaz to powerup the side’s run chase and complete the chase with 4 overs to spare. Hasan Nawaz remained unbeaten with 105 runs which included 10 fours and 7 sixes. Salma slammed a fifty in the match and powered side’s 9 wicket win.
Nawaz was named as the player of the match. Speaking in the post match conference, he said, “I was disheartened with the way I got out in the first two games but the captain and Shadab Khan backed me to play my natural game. The only thing on my mind was to get a single first and I relaxed after getting that first run in international cricket.”
Pakistan trails the series 1-2 in the series and the fourth T20I match will be played on March 23 at Bay Oval.
