The PCB has announced a 15-member Pakistan Squad for the Women’s Cricket World Cup 2025, where several stars are set to make their maiden World Cup appearances.
Eyman Fatima, who impressed in Pakistan’s National T20 tournament in May, is set to make her debut in the ODI format, while Natalia Parvaiz, Rameen Shamim, Sadaf Shamas, Sadia Iqbal, Shawaal Zulfiqar and Syeda Aroob Shah are also set for their maiden ODI World Cup appearances.
Pakistan qualified for the tournament through the ICC Women’s Cricket World Cup Qualifier, which was held in April this year.
The side finished in the top position, after winning all their games, including victories against West Indies and Bangladesh.
Gull Feroza, Najiha Alvi who were part of the Qualifier squad are now the travelling reserves along with Tuba Hassan, Umm-e-Hani and Waheeda Akhtar.

Pakistan will play all their group-stage matches at the R. Premadasa International Cricket Stadium in Colombo.
The 15 players alongside five reserves will take part in 14-day pre-South Africa series camp from August 29. The players under the coaching staff led by Muhammad Wasim will undergo practice session as well as 50 over practice matches. South Africa Women’s Cricket team will arrive in Lahore on September 12.
Pakistan will play their first game against Bangladesh on October 02 before taking over India and Australia on October 05 and 08 respectively.
